The Defensive Empowerment Academy was created with the passion to educate and empower individuals with strategies that seek to provide personal protection. In an ever changing world it has become more important than ever that individuals learn to become situationally aware and have a general understanding of methods and options available for personal protection. The Defensive Empowerment Academy strives to equip its students with not only the skills but the products needs to face the world and protect themselves and their families from potential threats. The Defensive Empowerment Academy was founded by Jessica with the desire to reach students on an personal level and share her passion in an easy and comfortable manner to help you feel confident facing the world presented to us all. Jessica is a USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor, a NRA Certified Chief Range Safety Officer and a NRA Certified Refuse to Be a Victim Instructor. Jessica also hold The Well Armed Woman certified instructor credential. Jessica has completed numerous civilian law enforcement academies and is as First Aid CPR Certified. As a woman with a passion to educate other women, Jessica volunteers here time as dual Leader of two local national non profit chapters of the women’s shooting organization - The Well Armed Woman (TWAW) Jessica is also a former 3 year State Leader of Florida for TWAW. The goal of the Defensive Empowerment Academy is to continue to provide options to the public to help them gain confidence and understanding to empower themselves to develop their own personal protection strategies.
