Overview
The DC Schools Project is an ESL and English literacy tutoring, mentoring, and advocacy program of the Center for Social Justice. Serving DC's low-income immigrant youth and their families, it was established in 1984 in response to the massive influx of Central American immigrants to the DC area during the Salvadoran Civil War. DC Schools Project is an EngageDCorps Program at the Center for Social Justice.
