Overview

The organization "Denmarks Veterans" brings together Danish women and men who meet the Danish government's criteria for the term "Veteran" and who have received either an official medal or the official Veteran card for participation in an international operation. The purpose of Denmarks Veterans is to: -Create a framework for gathering all Danish personnel who have participated in international operations, thereby strengthening and linking the companion ties among the members. -Participate in information about the activities that Danish personnel participate and have participated in. -Recognizing and honoring veterans - including the deceased and fallen - in a dignified manner. -Support veterans who >after returning from international operations< need this, among other things, through the Veteran Support Denmark or otherwise. -Help create and support local associations. -Manage the funds made available to the National Association.
