Overview

Czech Pharmaceutical Students' Association, with the acronym CzPSA, was established on June 26, 1990 by pharmacy students at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University. We are non-profit, non-political, non-religious, voluntary professional non-governmental organization of pharmacy students. CzPSA is a Full Member in the International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation (IPSF) and Associate Member in the European Pharmaceutical Students' Association (EPSA). We represent about 1500 students ranging from 1st to 5th year of studies at our faculty, PhD students and recent graduates up to 2 years after finishing their studies. We aim to offer extracurricular activities to students. In order to achieve that, we organise educational lectures, workshops, soft-skill seminars, Public Health Campaings, discussions with professionals and also free-time activities, such as Meet Me Camp for Freshmen, Ball of Pharmacy, Job Fair in Medicine and Pharmacy or parties. We also cooperate with other associations such as medical students' associations. Being a part of both IPSF and EPSA, we support student mobility by taking a very active part in Student Exchange Programme, Individual Mobility Project or Twinnets and also having a strong delegation at IPSF and EPSA congresses. Executive committee of our association consists of 7 people - President, Vice President of Internal Affairs, Vice President of External Affairs, Vice President of Education, Vice President of PR, Treasurer and Secretary General. Moreover we have several coordinators for certain activities. CzPSA is fully supported by the dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Charles University and the Czech Chamber of Pharmacists.
