CAN will strive to bring a collective voice for cultural organizations in Michigan. The organization will lead advocacy and education efforts to influence decision making at the highest levels of state and local government and ensure that cultural leaders have the tools they need to deliver the highest quality of service for the individuals they serve. Members are cultural organizations with a statewide reach. Current members are: Historical Society of Michigan Michigan Library Association Michigan Festivals and Events Association Michigan Humanities Michigan Historic Preservation Network Michigan Museums Association Michigan Presenters Network Michigan Youth Arts Community Theatre Association of Michigan Michigan Traditional Arts Program Michigan School Vocal Music Association As the future unfolds, we will be working with you to help amplify your voices to create a strong cultural environment here in Michigan. The whole is definitely greater than the sum of its parts! We are just getting started!
