Overview

Center for the Study of Genocide and Justice (CSGJ) aims to organize and promote research, documentation, study and education on atrocity crimes such as genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes committed in Bangladesh and other parts of the world. Center for the Study of Genocide and Justice (CSGJ), established by Liberation War Museum in 2014, is aimed to organize and promote collaborative research, documentation, study and education on genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes committed in Bangladesh and other parts of the world. The core mission of the Center is to commemorate the victims of Genocide in Bangladesh, to celebrate these who survived, to educate upcoming generations and to dedicate its effort to uphold the cause of truth and justice. The Director of the Center is Mr. Mofidul Hoque, the Liberation War Museum Trustee and eminent personality in the field of genocide, justice and mass atrocity in the country along with international scholars like Professor Dr. Daniel Feierstein, Dr. Helen Jarvis, Dr. Ashis Nandy, Dr. Trudy Peterson, Dr. Adam Jones, Amy Fagin are members of its Advisory Board. CSGJ regularly organizes certificate courses, winter residential school and training program, public lectures, seminars, workshops and other public events.
