Overview

Founded in 1979 in response to the desperate need for services for spinal injured patients and persons with disabilities, the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP), the core programme of Trust for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (TRP) is a registered NGO of Bangladesh. It has achieved universal recognition for its services towards the persons with disabilities in Bangladesh. CRP provides treatment and rehabilitation to persons with disabilities through physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, assistive devices, artificial limbs, vocational training and community reintegration. In a word, CRP works to promote an environment where all girls and boys, women and men with disabilities have equal access to health, rehabilitation, education, employment, the physical environment and information.
