Climate Risk and Finance Council

Non-profit Organizations

Overview

Climate change brings forth a multitude of risks and opportunities for businesses. Climate change will force societies and businesses to mitigate and adapt to climate risk. Businesses and Investors interested in managing these risks and benefitting from upcoming opportunities must implement a complex system of climate-related disclosures, accounting & banking standards and satisfy regulatory requirements. This can be daunting and sometimes discouraging. The CRF Council aims to simplify these systems so that it is easier to implement, monitor, and manage climate risk - and opportunities. And once Climate Risk is better understood, better monitored, and better managed, we want to utilize Climate Finance to help create a more equitable and more resilient World.
