Overview

Country Rugby League is the governing body of Rugby League competitions played in Regional NSW. CRL aims to play a key role in transforming the game to become the most popular participated team sport in Regional New South Wales, through strong Representative Programs and Community engagement. CRL has produced some of the greatest players in Rugby League history and continues to produce many of the game’s current stars. The CRL currently oversees over 500 clubs divided into 6 regions, this accounts for all junior and senior club level competition across Regional NSW. Over these 500 clubs, Country Rugby proudly boasts over 57,000 registered members. This number is expected to continue to grow due to the continuing dedication of the massive volunteer army.
