The basic philosophy behind Cord is this: do what you can and let us do the rest. Leave the work at work. Why are we doing this? We observed a problem in society: people are working more and living less, unable to make a choice between managing themselves and their households and doing the things they love. So, we want to mobilise the power of the gig economy and resolve this problem by creating a product that relies on 2 very different groups of stakeholders. Cord draws on vendors who want to earn some extra money and connects them to working professionals who need them to help maintain their households. These vendors will complete simple tasks on behalf of the users such as lawn mowing, buying groceries, and car washing and this frees up time for users. In terms of both business and social impact, Cord has the innovation to bridge the work-life gap. Allow us to be the Cord that connects you to your greatest potential.
