Consultores Asociados S.A., CONAS, founded in 1991, has the mission of guiding its clients towards improvement, by providing consultancy and auditing services with an innovative, inclusive and competitive approach. Since 2004 the company has been implementing the Business Management Improvement Program, which has promoted the continuous improvement of the organization and in 2015 the company obtained the compliance certificate of the Quality Management System with ISO 9001:2008 As a consultancy firm specialized in business, the company is characterized by the professionalism of its staff, the rendering of personalized services to its clients and the development of strategic alliances with renowned international and national organizations. CONAS has 142 employees; more than 90 % of them have university degrees, 2 have a PhD and 42 are masters of science. Out of the 132 professionals working in the firm, fifty-six are registered as auditors by the Comptroller General’s Office of the Republic of Cuba, four are registered as expert appraisers by the Ministry of Finance and Prices, and ten are registered as quality auditors by the National Certification Agency, of whom nine are lead auditors and nine have received training courses from Bureau Veritas and/or Lloyd’s register. Moreover, the joint work with widely prestigious international firms has contributed to the assimilation of international practices and the enhancement of quality standards in the provision of services. The professional makeup of the consultancy firm’s staff facilitates the creation of multidisciplinary teams for the provision of services, which can meet the clients’ needs and expectations.
