Overview

We train leaders in practical, productive team building techniques with nonviolent communication, consent circle and restorative circle tools. A overview of one of our foci is below: A TASTE OF RESTORATIVE CIRCLES An Introduction to A Community-based Strategy for Addressing Conflict Restorative Circles offer a way for individuals and communities to establish connection, discover meaning and recover power on profound levels when one or more community members experience an action as harm. Restorative Circles create a safe space for addressing conflict and differences and for reaching agreements that help sustain effective and nurturing relationships -- within personal, professional or community groups. Restorative Circles support the open-hearted clarity and tangible power-sharing that are fostered by the Nonviolent Communication consciousness upon which they are founded. Restorative Circle (RC) and other restorative practices, in recent decades, have supported the reemergence of methods by which communities can share in the responsibility for repair of relationships when harm has been experienced. Such practices share the intention, common to many indigenous peacekeeping circles, to equally value every voice. Rethinking our current view of and response to conflict and engaging with the challenge of consciously building whole-system responses to community well-being has opened up promising practices and possibilities for furthering a culture of peace.
