Community Policing & Policing Science Institute (CPPSI) was established in 2010 to provide classroom based training courses to Abu Dhabi Police Officers. We are expanding our offerings to include police consultancy, research and educational provision within the field of our expertise. We provide a variety of courses all aimed at spreading the philosophy of Community Policing and related disciplines. Our lecturers and consultants are predominantly from International backgrounds and experience including United Kingdom, Singapore, Canada, Europe and United States.Our Institute, the first of its kind in the UAE and the surrounding regions was founded upon the instructions of his Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The United Arab Emirates Minister of Interior and Deputy Prime Minister. Sheikh Saif as Chief of Police of the emirate of Abu Dhabi has personally championed the development of community policing since 2003. Year by year the number of courses offered by CPPSI have been increasing and to date we have trained over 11,000 police officers in various subjects related to Community Policing and Policing Science. The demand for our course remains strong.
