Our initiative is to foster discussion and collaboration among students with interests in medicine, scientific research, or computer science, with the aim of learning more about informatics and the crucial role that it is playing in shaping the future of healthcare. At the intersection of these three fields, medical informatics explores solutions and improvements to problems that currently exist in medical treatments, clinical practices, and healthcare administration. For students considering pursuing careers in healthcare, a strong understanding of the benefits, risks, and potential changes to the practice of medicine due to the progress of technology will be essential.
