Overview
The mission of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic to inspire and engage the people within the community and region through exceptional orchestral performance honoring classical greatness, encouraging lifelong creative discovery, and celebrating the human spirit and experience. Performing in the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts and Ent Center for the Arts at UCCS, the Philharmonic will present 55 live performances. Performances are divided into four main series: El Pomar Masterworks, Penrose-St. Francis Health Services Philharmonic Pops, Al and Leigh Buettner Signature Series, and Philharmonic Kids. In addition, the Philharmonic offers holiday and special event concerts and free-to-all Summer Symphony performances. We believe in the power of excellent orchestral music to elevate the human spirit, to serve as a catalyst for cultural vitality and economic growth and to bring people of great diversity together, to enrich lives. This inspires our vision to provide unsurpassed musical experiences for our region, state, and nation.
