The Colorado Sexual Recovery Center(CSRC) is a comprehensive treatment center specializing in treating sex and pornography addicts as well as their affected partners. Unique and cutting edge treatment at CSRC focuses on the cause and core of sex and pornography addiction rather than symptoms alone. Our highly credentialed therapists and medical doctor help discover the cause of sexual addiction, repair relationships, stop problematic behaviors and treat underlying mood or anxiety disorders if indicated. CSRC was founded in 2008 by Dr. Michael Barta, and has helped hundreds of men, women and couples recover from the harmful and disruptive effects of sex and pornography addiction. We treat sex and pornography addicts, couples, and partners. Dr. Barta is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and supervisor, and has 28 years of experience in treating addictions. Dr. Ashbaugh is a licensed and board certified physician, CSAT-c, and is also trained in the multidimensional partner trauma model by the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS). CSRC is proud to be the only outpatient sex addiction treatment facility in the country with a medical doctor on staff who can treat co-occurring mood and anxiety disorders if indicated. CSRC offers many treatment options including group, individual and couples therapy, intensive out-patient treatment programs, and a ne 14 day, residential treatment facility which will be opening in June of 2016.
