The College Access Consortium of New York (CACNY) is an established NYS 501 c(3) network of friendly, helpful professionals representing a membership comprised of community-based organizations, colleges and secondary schools. CACNY's members are committed to assisting students in their quest for post-secondary success. At lively once-a-month meetings, information is shared among CACNY members (community based organizations, secondary and post-secondary programs) regarding college admissions requirements, new scholarships offered by private and corporate entities, New York State Regents diploma and SAT/ACT prep courses. Strategies and best practices for counseling, supporting and empowering the college access and success outcomes for NYC students is central to CACNY and CACNY member organization's agenda. Through LinkedIn, CACNY takes the next step to provide best practice, policy analysis, outreach and support to its members and the larger college access and success community within the Greater New York City metropolitan area.
