Overview

MEET COGGAN FARMS - 5 GENERATIONS, 3 PROTEINS, 1 VISION Established in the 1930s, the Coggan Farming enterprise began near Inverell on a Merino sheep stud. The family moved to the current site, ‘Enarra’, in 1937, situated at Inglestone, between Westmar and Meandarra on Queensland’s Western Downs. Originally a belah and brigalow virgin block, Enarra has been successfully developed over five generations to incorporate cattle and lamb feedlots, irrigated and dryland farming, extensive grazing and a Meatmaster Stud. Today, Coggan Farms is a leading force in the innovation and advancement of sustainable Australian cropping procedures. By implementing farming processes such as minimal till, modified farming equipment, and covering crops to assist in soil nutrition, Coggan Farms is a unique and powerful force in ethical farming.
