In our increasingly complex world we need to collaborate more than ever in order to understand the systemic challenges we face, develop solutions and deliver change. I help professional teams navigate this journey using design approaches to facilitate discovery, mapping and strategy setting. I also provide coaching in design thinking methodologies. I run individual workshops and workshop series with organisations and their stakeholders, working with teams of three to three hundred, online (through MS Teams & Zoom) or face-to-face. Workshops are carefully designed to encourage collaboration, sharing of information and the development of new ideas. Most importantly insights generated are captured and synthesised into formats that support future decision making. My work focuses on four activities. Discovery Workshops: I help organisations develop new initiatives, research programmes and new products and services through carefully designed discovery workshops, often working with a very broad range of stakeholders. Strategy Sprints: I run strategy sprints using structured workshop formats to support co-development of future plans with executive and board teams. Ecosystem Mapping: I have developed a wide range of ecosystem mapping workshop formats that allow teams to take a systems view of future innovation within their organisations. Coaching: I also provide coaching, upskilling individuals and teams in using design approaches to facilitate change in their own organisation . I have developed a wide range of design thinking programmes for the NHS, Design Council, Innovate UK, and numerous Universities.
