CODE is a multidisciplinary architecture practice, founded in 2009 by Manal Shalak, providing architecture, interior and engineering services from design to completion. Continuing along the path of her family’s long history, Shalak founded her practice on the premise of preserving this heritage all whilst introducing a modern dynamic to it. CODE’s focus is to design living spaces that combine sense and sensibility, thereby translate ideas into a seamless blend of aesthetics, functionality, quality and durability. From the identification of needs, to concept design and project construction, The CODE works with a diverse range of international and local clients. It is deeply committed to an ongoing collaboration with its clients, fostering free flow of ideas with the singular aim of concretizing their vision down to the last detail. It draws on its rich experience to develop conceptual designs tailored to the specific requirements of each project and oversee their implementation into form and function. Our approach to space and design is three-pronged and combines architectural technology and composition, structural engineering, and interior design. Innovation is one of the cornerstones of the design process as it is constantly striving to create modern concepts that enrich this field with novel designs and materials. CODE’s draws on its heritage and its innovative approach to build contemporary environments that exude simplicity and elegance and transform people’s lives and experiences.
