Coax Helicopters plans to harness coaxial rotary wing technology and design, develop, manufacture, market and distribute a revolutionary range of new Coaxial Rotor System small format, helicopters for global markets. The company has complete, working prototypes on which development will be based. The company will develop unmanned in parallel, one and two seat models in turbine engine, diesel, gasoline and other motor configurations. The technology contained in these new models is very exciting and sets these helicopters apart from traditional helicopters. Not only are the CoaX models physically different, they also offer considerable advantages over traditional models. The management of yaw with a coaxial main rotor makes these craft more stable, more manoeuvrable, quieter, safer and provides a better power to weight ratio. It has greater lift and is much more efficient than traditional helicopters. Running costs, particularly with the two petrol motor version, will be significantly lower.
