Overview

Our lead tutor, Adrian, has over 25 years in environmental education and previous experience of ecology and biological survey work, principally invertebrates and butterflies. Coast and Forest Education deliver inspiring outdoor education opportunities these include Forest School programmes, environmental and outdoor education sessions and visits across a range of habitats and thoroughly tailored to individual, school and group requirements. We facilitate First Aid and Forest School Leader courses through the Awarding Organisation Quality Network United Kingdom (QNUK). Our courses are regulated and on the Regulated Qualify Framework (RQF). We use an awarding organisation and regulated courses as we feel this offers the candidates security and assurance their course is up to date and meets statutory requirements and mapped to needs such as OFSTED. Additionally it offers us, as the centre, security working with an organisation that has quality and support at their core and procedures in place to ensure quality such as compliance officers and External Quality Assurance. They ensure we have policies and procedures in place to maintain our quality and compliance with an Internal Quality Assurance policy.
