The Cly-Del Manufacturing Company

Manufacturing

Overview

A leader in progressive stamping and deep drawn metal components. Founded in 1939, The Cly-Del Manufacturing Company is a fourth generation family owned and operated company committed to preserving the tradition of American manufacturing. As the second world war began Cly-Del quickly honored itself meeting U.S. defense needs through supplying special war related metal parts on time while exceeding quality standards then established. Today, Cly-Del has become a major global supplier of battery cans and components. In addition, it continues its long established contract production of ammunition components, eyelet type parts, shells, ferrules, cans, and other progressively stamped or deep drawn components. At its current home in Waterbury Connecticut, the company has grown from an original 50,000 to a 200,000 square feet facility housing over 250 production presses producing billions of parts annually. In its ongoing planning, seven additions have been integrated. Over the years, each expansion has been designed for greater efficiency relative to specific technologies then and now in practice. From its earliest production efforts the company has grown to be a leader in its industry by incorporating modern efficient technologies and implementing state of the art machinery and equipment. In so doing, it has guaranteed its position as a precision, high volume production source for a broad spectrum of precision stamped and drawn components. info@cly-del.com +1 (203) 574-2100
