Club Melbourne is a diverse network of thought leaders, collectively transforming Melbourne and Victoria into the home of extraordinary ideas and events. Founded and managed by Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the program comprises more than 80 Ambassadors who are influential in their fields and set the standard for innovative and inspiring thinking across all kinds of industries and sectors. With support from Melbourne Convention Bureau and the Victorian State Government, our ambassadors drive the city’s global reputation for academic and business excellence and attract new international events that feature the world’s greatest thinkers and leaders. The Club Melbourne program has been central to attracting more than 150 events to Melbourne since it was established in 2005. These events have brought tens of thousands of visitors to the city with a combined benefit to Victoria’s economy of more than $1 billion. Examples of major events supported and won by Club Melbourne include The World AIDS Conference, the World Diabetes Congress, and the World Congress of Cardiology.
