Established in 1997, the Clinical HIV Research Unit (CHRU) conducts clinical trials for the improved standard of care for the treatment of HIV, TB, HIV-associated diseases as well as Covid-19. CHRU clinical research sites are operational in Johannesburg, Durban and Gqeberha, South Africa.
