The Lab identifies, develops, and accelerates early-stage businesses and financial instruments that can unlock billions in sustainable investment. These instruments aim to improve the effectiveness of public support, while also reducing private investors’ risks and improving their financial returns. Since inception in 2014, the Lab has helped launch 62 instruments, which have mobilized more than USD 3 bn in sustainable investment to date.
