City Year helps Tulsa students and schools succeed. Fueled by national service, City Year partners with 11 Tulsa Public Schools and serves in 29 urban communities across the U.S. as well as through international affiliates in the U.K. and Johannesburg, South Africa. When a young person serves with City Year they help students reach their full potential while fulfilling their own.Diverse teams of City Year AmeriCorps members provide research-based student, classroom and school-wide support to help students stay in school and on track to graduate from high school, ready for college and career success. A proud member of Oklahoma AmeriCorps and the national AmeriCorps service network, City Year is a public - private partnership, made possible by resources from schools and school districts; local, state, and federal governments; and philanthropic support from corporations, foundations, and individuals.
