AN ACTIVE LIFESTYLE Keeping active is a major part of life in West St. Paul. Included in the City is 14 parks, over 50 miles of walking, hiking and biking trails, an outdoor pool, a state-of-the-art splash pad, baseball, soccer and football fields, a disc golf course, playgrounds, beautiful lakes and ponds, hockey and skating rinks, and so much more. In addition to the many parks, West St. Paul is also home to Dodge Nature Center; one of the nation’s leading environmental learning establishments. West St. Paul is home to the Regional Athletics Center, Minnesota’s largest inflated sports dome. It attracts visitors from across the Midwest. Featuring 110,000 square feet of field space for indoor soccer, football, lacrosse, softball, ultimate frisbee and so much more. West St. Paul’s indoor John V. Hoene Ice Arena keeps ice sports thriving year-round. SOUTH ROBERT STREET South Robert Street is West St. Paul’s main thoroughfare and host to much of the commerce in the City. Hundreds of businesses in retail, dining, service industry, finance and beyond call this 2.5 mile stretch home. The City unveiled a fully reconstructed South Robert Street in 2017. This project improved everything from aesthetics to safety and continues to attract new developments and businesses to West St. Paul. SCHOOLS West St. Paul is home to a number of traditional schools for all ages as well as other unique education opportunities including Magnet and environmental schools as well as Dodge Nature Center.
