Overview

Built with the core values of inspiring creativity, collaboration, connection and community, Cirkle Labs’ goal is to influence education, employment and enterprise at the basic levels of society. Unemployment in Nigeria is on the increase and this cuts across several African communities. The demand for education is not matching the supply while several who get into Universities do not have access to adequate resources and upon graduation are not aware of opportunities to leverage on. Also, small businesses that power the economy most time lack access to relevant information and support that can bring growth and profit. Today’s workplace has evolved even in Nigeria. One major cause of unemployment is the lack of talent with requisite skills, even where hard skills are present, our graduates lack simple etiquettes like email culture and soft skills like Leadership, teamwork, communication, work ethic, flexibility, adaptability, problem solving, interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. 74% of graduates churned out of tertiary institutions across Sub-Saharan Africa lack relevant skills needed for today’s jobs and the jobs of the future, so bad that employment will only be an issue if we have solved employability. Our approach to solving this is simple, work with and provide solutions with digital tools to organisations both micro, small, medium and large as well as government parastatals that will increase their capacity and improve their efficiency. While offering online and offline blended opportunities that includes wholesome learning and development of both hard and soft skills, access to resources and access to opportunities to young people. Our main target areas are the basic level, places which large concentration of young people but very few opportunities to learn or be gainfully engaged outside the classroom.
