Overview

Our mission is simple, but unique, and useful: Make Tomorrow's Makers. Day in and day out - our kids interact with technology. TV, iPad, iPhone, bluetooth, wifi, Netflix, Pixar, XBox, Chromebook, more... technology is central to how they experience the world and interact with it. All this stuff - there's so much of it, and it's everywhere. There's so much to hook kids and keep them there. Watching, listening, consuming. And so: do we want our children to become merely consumers of technology? Or - might we equip them to see technology as something they comprehend, and not mindlessly consume? Circuits2Robotics teaches kids to become Makers - of their own inventions, robots, stuff they can interact with - while being challenged, and having fun. Program is built from an engineer’s perspective, from the core idea that to really make kids into makers, not consumers - they need to understand technology in layers. The core idea summarizes into this equation: Robotics = Electronics + Coding + Mechanics And so Circuits2Robotics educates kids in each of these three foundational blocks from the ground-up, from the very basics and then to bring the three layers together to build their own machines and projects and robots. That move. That do stuff. That interact with them and the world. They have fun, and become Makers. Our courses are tailored for kids age 11-16. We use a state-of-the-art online learning platform and all software and parts are open-sourced - no expensive kits or software needed! With a focus on keeping everything accessible and affordable, for as many people as possible from all over the world - we work with simple, open-source hardware like Raspberry Pi & Pico, free software like Python, and easily available and low-cost electronic components and mechanical building blocks, that do not lock you into a proprietary (and limited, and limiting!) ecosystem. Running since 2019 across the US, UK, and India.
