Lindsay Saunders created Cinder & Sage in 2009 after making jewelry for fun for friends and family took off on social media. After graduating with a business degree from the University of Lethbridge, Lindsay, a life-long crafter, wanted to channel some of her creativity and started making jewelry for herself and friends. Before she knew it, she was selling out at local markets and Cinder & Sage was becoming a well-known local brand. Cinder & Sage is now carried in over 45 boutiques across Canada, has a strong online shop and social media following, and is still drawing crowds at local markets. Lindsay also recently moved Cinder & Sage out of her home and into it’s own loft space in Mission. This new creative home is not only where everything can be designed, made, packed and shipped from, but also a retail space where customers can shop or discuss custom pieces. Lindsay’s line now consists of not just jewelry, but of accessories, a bridal line and a soon-to-be men’s line.
