Overview

At Christmas Connection, it’s always the season of sharing. For over 40 years, we have been committed to strengthening our communities by providing a dignified, no-cost shopping experience to central Oklahoma families in need. What started as a seasonal agency offering help at Christmas time, has grown to three programs including Christmas Connection, Crisis Connection, and Community Connection. Our facility is stocked with clothing, household items, and other necessities, and is laid out like a department store where visitors can “shop” based on their unique needs and preferences. Most of the goods are donated by the community, the store is primarily staffed and stocked by volunteers, and all clients are referred by one of our 50+ partner agencies. We accept donations of new and gently used clothing, household items, toys, and more. Christmas Connection is our founding program and provides an opportunity for parents to escape their difficult circumstances and pick out gifts and needed items for everyone in the home. Crisis Connection provides families that have experienced a total loss due to fire or tornado with the opportunity to shop for items needed to rebuild their lives, including pots and pans, clothes, bedding, towels, and other household goods. Community Connection allows families to come in as needs arise for clothing, shoes, and small household items. Shoppers are able to access this program up to 2 times per calendar year. Seasonal programs are offered by Christmas Connection throughout the year as well including Prom Shop, Just for Mothers Day, Summer Saturdays, and Senior Christmas.
