Overview

Our goal at the Children's Bereavement Center (CBC) is to enable children, teens and families to acknowledge change, adjust, and integrate loss with healthful grief and mourning. The Children's Bereavement Center provides FREE peer support groups for children, teens and young adults (elementary through college age), as well as adult caregivers who are grieving the death of a loved one. Groups are open to anyone who has lost a loved one as a result of illness, accident, suicide, or homicide. Losses can be recent or in years past. • No cost to participate • Open to anyone who has lost a parent, child, sibling, grandparent, relative or friend • Separate groups for children, young adults, parents and adult caregivers • Meet once-a-week in the evening throughout the year • Free pizza dinner
