Overview

CHESSanity is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching and promoting chess among K-12 students across America as to build their self-esteem and cognitive outreach. We place a strong emphasis on aiding underprivileged schools, hoping that eventually, chess will be integrated into schools’ core curricula around the nation. Our firm belief is that chess is as essential as STEM and liberal arts subjects in relation to academic performance and social development. In the future, CHESSanity also hopes to provide a national and global presence for students through the use of digital technology. Whether you are a beginner seeking private lessons or a Long Island school looking to jumpstart a chess program, we will be able to assist you in some way, shape, or form. For more information about CHESSanity, please visit our website below. Some notable alumni that have attended our programs include: - The 2017 U10 World Cadets World Champion and Youngest National Master in history - The 2017 U10 Girls World Cadets Bronze Medalist and a official U.S. Representative at the 2017 Pan American Chess Championships - 5 top 100 players in age groups 8 and 9 ... plus over 120 successful graduations.
