The family real estate company has now has merged with Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty now the 10 largest franchise in the global Sotheby's Realty network of affiliates. Cheray Unman has been in the financial , technology and venture community for years ; funding over 180 million dollars into both private and public technology companies. She co-founded the boutique investment bank Tanner Unman & Co. in New York City that funded public and private tech and media companies. Cheray Unman started Venture Bank www.venturebank.com to provide strategic capital and relationships to private companies in Europe, New York and the Bay Area. Cheray then partnered with Michael Schwab to create a venture alliance called Big Sky Venture Capital LLC. , www.bigskyvc.com. Cheray received her undergraduate Degree from UC Berkeley in Art History and her advanced degree in Art History ,European decorative arts and architecture from Sotheby"s Institute London.She lived in London in the borough of Chelsea on Cheyne Walk for four years .
