The Canadian Home Builders’ Association- Vancouver Island (CHBA-VI) is a not-for-profit organization which acts as the voice of the residential construction industry on Vancouver Island. With over 130 members, spanning all sub-trades and partners in the residential construction field, they work to achieve an environment in which their membership can operate successfully, promoting affordability and choice in housing across the province. Their activities are focused on 3 key areas: Achieving a stable business environment for members Promoting and protecting the interests of consumers Supporting the professionalism of our members CHBA-VI produces the annual Vancouver Island Building Excellence (VIBE) awards, an Island wide celebration of building excellence that honors industry professionals for their success. The VIBE awards have come to be Vancouver Island's most prestigious housing awards program.
