How can we ensure all students—particularly those traditionally underserved—have equitable access to excellent math and science education? At the Charles A. Dana Center at The University of Texas at Austin, this question has inspired our vision and guided our work for more than 20 years. Every day, our team works with educators, administrators, policymakers, and other partners to dismantle barriers in education systems while creating and scaling the types of math and science education innovations that support student success. Our work centers on K–16 mathematics and science education with an emphasis on strategies for improving student engagement, motivation, persistence, and achievement.
