About Mr. S.D. Sanjay: Mr. Sanjay has been practicing law since his LLB (Hons.) from the Campus Law Centre, Delhi University in 1984. He set up his independent chambers in 1989 specializing in taxation, customs, & complex commercial disputes. After running one of the most critically acclaimed chambers at the Patna High Court, with a team of 15 individual lawyers, and with a wide-ranging practice spanning taxation disputes, service disputes, coal disputes, constitutional disputes & criminal disputes, Mr. Sanjay was designated as the Additional Advocate General for the State of Bihar in 2010, which he served until 2014. He was, in the interim, also designated as a Senior Advocate by the Patna High Court in 2013. Mr. Sanjay, was then in 2015, designated as the first Additional Solicitor General of India for the Patna High Court. He served as the Additional Solicitor General till 2020, representing the Union of India and its various departments in forums. Mr. Sanjay was also the head of the election legal cell in 2020, and continues to assist the state in election disputes, given his expertise. Currently, the Chambers is involved and engaged as arguing Counsel in wide-ranging disputes, concerning various fields of law due to the multifaceted experience of Mr. Sanjay, and the Counsels working at the Chambers.
