Overview

Chalmers Formula Student bridges the gap between Engineering Education and Industry by training students in a real-life project where they independently Design, Analyze and develop Technological solutions by making Data-Driven Decisions throughout the Design, Manufacturing, and Testing of a full-fledged Formula Racing automobile, and finally put their skills to the test in competitions with various other teams from the rest of the world. The Chalmers Formula Student Driverless project is a pilot project at the Chalmers University of Technology that is continuously developing a previously integrated CFSD19 electric autonomous race car. The team consists of seven students working on software and electronics, five master students working on mechanics, and one student working on the business plan. We have members from China, India, Ecuador, and Sweden. Together we aim to compete at Formula Student Germany at Hockenheim, Formula Student East in Hungary, and Formula Student Czech in the Czech Republic in the summer of 2020.
