Situated on 900 acres and strategically located just five miles north of historic downtown Forth Worth, Meacham shares a rich history with the City of Fort Worth and is poised for growth as North Texas’ premier corporate and general aviation facility. Investing in the Future–A Tier One General Aviation Facility In March of 2015, the airport broke ground for a new administration building, gutting the existing one for renovation, demolishing part of it and adding a third floor to meet future tenants’ needs. The newly renovated building will feature a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient HVAC system designed to work in tandem with “smart glass” cladding the building’s exterior–integral to receiving LEED Silver Certification for maximizing energy efficiency and make the most of renewable, sustainable resources. The building will also feature a high tech conference center area on the third level as rentable space ideally suited for corporate training sessions, business conferences, and private events such as wedding receptions.
