Overview
--- The Research Center for Plant Macromolecules (Cermav - UPR5301) was created in 1966 by CNRS. Our research institute is focused on glycosciences. Through a multidisciplinary-approach from chemistry and physicochemistry to biology specialties, we occupy a leading position, at the international level, in the key research areas of carbohydrates (sugars, oligo- and polysaccharides, glycopolymers and glycomaterials), their synthesis, characterization, functions and applications in various fields.
