Centre of Academic Excellence is a non-profit, non-governmental and politically unconditioned think-tank based in Bucharest, Romania. Its mission is to bring together national and international academics who share its ideals regarding the necessity to develop programmes dedicated to supporting and encouraging educational progress. Our objectives concentrate on three fundamental elements: ➣ the training of future generations through innovative methods; ➣ the development of interdisciplinary research in Legal and Political sciences, International Relations, Public Administration, European education and communication; ➣ the academic involvement of stakeholders concerned with Romanian state organization and the European social system. Through our hard work and dedication for our mission, we have managed to: ✔ address the development needs of over 2000 teenagers and adults, regardless of their social statuses and/or disadvantaged conditions; ✔ hand in over 50 European projects; ✔ participate in more than 15 international projects; ✔ engage both local and international communities (from countries such as Italy, Spain, Sweden, Ireland, Turkey and many others); ✔ contribute to the development of competencies and values such as entrepreneurship, active citizenship, cultural awareness or social responsibility in the local community, through innovative and non-formal methods.
