Overview

EpiCompass is a team of Front-line Advisory in Field Epidemiology created as a nonprofit making and apolitical association to promote evidence based medical practices in Africa. It is made up of multidisciplinary teams designing and conducting research to improve human health and well-being. We are opened for international collaborations and we strongly encourage research and academic institutions in Africa to join us for an improved health care. We are specialized in designing and conducting surveys in emergency contexts and advising on surveillance system. EpiCompass is not for profit making and it composes of three main sections: EpiCompass Medical Journal, a peer review open access medical journal to publish original articles in health and related topics; EpiCompass Emerg, in charge of Humanitarian Medical emergency response; and EpiCompass Research, in charge of developing and conducting scientific research to improve access to sound healthcare and training.
