CICMH, a non-profit organization aims to help bring peace and harmony in the world by crossing all man-made barriers, promoting greater understanding and weaving together the peoples of this fast-changing world with the purity of seven musical notes of Indian Classical Music. CICMH's unique mission is to spread the essence of Indian culture by presenting the many facets of the 5000-year-old traditional art-form of Indian Classical Music in its most holistic and purest form. Besides being a time-honored tradition that helps the Indian diaspora connect to its culture and heritage, CICMH believes that Indian Classical Music, with its inherent richness and underlying meditative values, is one of the best avenues to attain overall physical, emotional and spiritual wellness for every individual, irrespective of their background, lifestyle or occupation. CICMH founder, Pandit Suman Ghosh has been recognized and awarded by various local and international organizations including proclamations from the City of Houston, USA and surrounding cities for investing his expertise, experience, talent, and time in contributing to the spread of Indian Arts and Culture through CICMH, as he has been for the last 18 years.
