Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) of BRAC University (BRACU) endeavors to inspire, devise, nurture, develop, and elevate entrepreneurship through innovation, institutional capacity, and leadership. CED is committed to contributing to the qualitative improvement of entrepreneurship in Bangladesh to accelerate business and socio-economic development. CED aspires to encourage entrepreneurship development and to engender entrepreneurial knowledge/skills by “helping people help themselves through innovation, capacity development, and leadership. CED started its journey in April 2011 to encourage Bangladeshi entrepreneurs by enriching entrepreneurial knowledge and skill so that they can systematically develop and expand their businesses. CED provides a platform for new and existing, whether micro, small, or medium-scale enterprises, through skills acquisition activities for the development and management of the enterprise. To understand the enterprise better, CED emphasizes research that will contribute to entrepreneurial development in Bangladesh, advance education and skill acquisition along this line, and popularize the idea of entrepreneurship.
