Overview

CBR International is a volunteer organisation that brings rehabilitation to patients not reached by the country’s health care system. The projects in Kenya and Rwanda support over 800 people with cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury or an orthopaedic problem . CBR International relies on the Community Based Rehabilitation methodology to link patients to care institutions and schools. The best practises training for local community workers ensures lasting support within the community. CBR International also focuses on prevention of disability, through creating awareness and education.
