Overview

The primary goal of the organization is to create a safe space for students to discuss important issues in the local community and the broader national community without the fear of criticism and censorship. Students are free to contribute their own unique topics during meetings. Prior topics have included research into the Opioid Epidemic, as well as the growing homeless populations in Californian cities. With over 50 active members, the organization looks to create opportunities for volunteering and charitable givings. One of our major accomplishments was raising $5,000 for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
