Catalysis - The Biochemical Society of Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi was founded in the year 2004, with its main aim being to catalyze young minds and make them imagine, explore, create and ideate innovative thoughts. The society throughout the year organizes workshops, seminars and competitions such as AMALGAM, a mixed-bag team event which makes the students think critically and analytically to solve problems on the spot, and MINDSPAR, wherein the students think, innovate, present and defend innovative solutions to societal problems with respect to their scientific, ecological and commercial viability. Every year the society works out to bring the annual departmental magazine "EXPRESSIONS", where we create a platform for students to highlight their literary creativity and scientific curiosity. We aim to create a magazine that appreciates the history, growth and future of different aspects of science.
