Overview

The Central Administration for Seed Production CASP is one of the entities affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation in Egypt, was established in 1920 as the first seed production agency in the Middle East and work continues to develop until it has become the largest government producer of field crop seeds in Egypt and the Middle East where it has 14 station for seed screening and production in Egypt, in addition to more than 250 seed distribution outlet in the Republic, CASP has the ability to export seeds of field crops to various countries in the Middle East and Africa and contribute with them scientifically and practically with regard to seed production for field crops
