Overview

Can plastics become a CO2 sink ? Yes, they can. At carbonauten polymers, we are working on carbon enriched polymers and produce customized CO2-negative masterbatches and compounds on an industrial scale. Our solutions are designed to be used in a wide range of industries, such as packaging, automotive, agriculture, furniture, construction and infrastructure. In addition to binding CO2, our compounds are characterized by improved product properties and, above all, competitive prices. This makes them a perfect substitute for conventional plastics. Our business model is based on the utilization of the biocarbons produced by the “carbonauten minus CO2 factories” to create “carbonauten NET-Materials®” (Negative Emission Technology) and as a result the next generation of plastic products that can play an important role in the decarbonization of the planet. By the way: 1 tonne of our carbonauten NET materials® stores up to 3.3 tonnes of CO2.
